Mandarin Lessons:
Eileen from Shanghai is offering her services to teach Putonghua to our church people. It will be in Pin Yin and the emphasis will be on phonetics with the aim of enabling us to search for words and use on the computer. An 8-session course, twice weekly, will start in January 2009. It will be on Mondays (2.00 – 3.00 pm or 7.45 – 8.45pm depending on response) Cost will be HK$600 for the entire course. 80% of the money collected will be donated to the church building fund. A Life Worth Living:
This course will start on Tuesday 6th January. It is a 9-session course, being held from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. The course is based on the book of Philippians and is a talk on DVD followed by discussion. Contact Jasmine

The Sunday School would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who contributed to our collection for the Home of Loving Faithfulness. Our gifts were delivered to the Home this past week in time for Christmas.

A LETTER:
I have recently received a letter from someone in the church containing some quite important information. Unfortunately, the sender of this letter failed to sign the letter and so I have no way of responding to this letter – I obviously cannot respond to what is at moment an anonymous letter. Could I ask the writer to get in touch with me and I can then explain what has to be done to respond the information in this letter. Otherwise I am afraid that I can do nothing. John Illsley
