Our Buildings
We have been blessed with a wonderful site for our church building — right on the corner of Queen’s Road East and Kennedy Road. Thousands pass by every day. The land was leased to the church over 110 years ago, for 999 years. Our current building is the second church on this site — there has never been anything but a church there.

Times, though, change, and needs change. Our present buildings are now proving inadequate for our present needs and for future needs. We need a bigger worship area, more small rooms, better youth and children’s areas, a better entrance on Queen’s Road East, and a ‘meet and greet area’ as you enter the buildings.

So under the prompting of God we are seeking to refurbish, reshape and modernise our buildings to better serve the needs we have now and the hopes and dreams we have for the future. There is an immediate need to do something quite quickly with our buildings but also to take a longer term look as well.

At all times we will want to involve our whole church community and the wider Methodist Church. Any thoughts or suggestions are always most welcome.
